We had the opportunity to visit one of our proudest projects that marks a significant milestone for Chick-fil-A! Last week, we celebrated the grand opening of Chick-fil-A RedBird in Dallas, TX, as their 3,000th restaurant!
As a part of this historic occasion, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is making a significant impact in local communities. They are donating $300,000 to Feeding America and Junior Achievement USA, supporting efforts to combat food insecurity and promote education. In addition, this new restaurant will spread joy to 100 local heroes by surprising them with free Chick-fil-A for an entire year!
But the magic doesn’t stop there! This store is an embodiment of sustainability and innovative design. To gain LEED certified status, it was heavily customized, featuring a stunning decorative retaining wall near the service side and unique artwork celebrating the 3,000th store milestone.
We couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of this journey, as our team has had the privilege of contributing to almost 350 ground-up projects with Chick-fil-A!
We want to express our utmost gratitude to the skilled expertise of Landmark General Contractors, INC. for helping build this vision to life. Cheers to Chick-fil-A and their commitment to excellence, community impact, and pushing the boundaries of innovation!

The story of Mayse & Associates is one of pure love and inspiration. It all began when two amazing individuals, Mike & Betsy Mayse, crossed paths and decided to embark on a journey together – creating something truly beautiful along the way.
Despite humble beginnings, they took a leap of faith and established an architecture firm that is now renowned for its Excellent Service, Excellent Product. Their first project, a Jack-in-the-Box, may have been small, but it was the first stepping stone toward an incredible journey. With only themselves as employees, they built a business that has touched the lives of so many. Today, Mayse & Associates has over 35 employees, completes 100 plus projects annually, and has an impressive 90% repeat business rate.
Their passion and dedication have been the driving force behind Mayse & Associates for four decades, and their legacy will continue to shine bright.
Let’s applaud these two founders who have created something remarkable. Their story is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and the beauty that can come from taking a risk. Here’s to many more years of building relationships, community, and architecture!
We are so excited to share that our team’s hard work and dedication have been recognized by Interior Design Magazine! Our Cotton Court Hotel project in Lubbock, Texas was featured in their April 2023 issue, with a four-page spread highlighting the stunning design.
We are honored to have been credited as the Architect of Record on page 4, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible collaboration with Rottet Studio and our entire team. It truly takes a village to create something as extraordinary as the Cotton Court Hotel, and we are grateful to have worked alongside such talented individuals.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this project a success! We are thrilled to see it showcased in a national publication and look forward to continuing to create beautiful spaces for our clients.
