This project consisted of the design of a new, freestanding, office/training facility of approximately 3,600 SF and the remodel and expansion of the existing operations center. Also included were associated site modifications, parking improvements, utilities, and a sanitary sewer lift station.
The GP&L operations center houses a vast amount of technology. As such, MAI enlisted the help of a technology consultant well-versed in the design and installation of the center’s complicated SCADA system. The new building’s modern exterior design reinforces technological inner-workings of the facility.
