Tru by Hilton Hotel

In August 2025, the Tru by Hilton in Irving, Texas opened and began inviting guests to experience its beauty for themselves. With 120 guestrooms and a trendy public area, the hotel encourages social interactions and inspires a lively atmosphere. Guests are welcome to enjoy numerous amenities, such as the lounge, a boardroom for meetings, and a 1,000 square foot fitness center. Savvy travelers may notice that the structure utilizes light gauge steel and a composite floor deck to separate the first-floor public areas from the private guest rooms above. Designed for trendy business travelers, the hotel offers a thoughtful blend of comfort, functionality, and novelty to support productivity throughout their stay.

The project was skillfully tailored to meet the City of Irving’s design requirements, fit the desired program within the less-than-one acre lot, and display a modern aesthetic. Due to the meticulous care provided by the design team, these challenges became opportunities for even greater design that improve the guest experience. When guests first arrive, they will be greeted by two vibrant light fixtures that span the full height of the hotel and provide a guiding light at night. Additionally, the bright entry canopy, decorated with colorful EIFS, gives visitors a taste of the interior’s playful and sophisticated atmosphere.
