CFA 05286 – Harry Hines & Medical District

4860 Harry Hines Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75235

Harry Hines & Medical District is a 5,410 square feet Chick-fil-A restaurant located in Dallas, Texas. For this location, Chick-fil-A desired an outdoor seating option that would withstand the extreme weather in Texas. Mayse & Associates worked in collaboration with Chick-fil-A to design an outdoor pavilion that would provide a comfortable outdoor space for customers to dine.

The main building is a prototypical design that utilizes a brick façade. The outdoor pavilion coheres to the building by utilizing the same brick to adorn the base of the structure. Above the brick, varying unique materials invite and protect the customers. Here, steel framing sits between Bahama shades, wire mesh, and fabric shades. Fans and lights sit between the draped ceiling panels to provide an extra level of comfort for guests. The pavilion houses seating for up to 44 guests. The addition of the outdoor pavilion gives guests flexibility in how they enjoy their meal. By combining functional design with visual interest, the pavilion enhances the overall dining experience and reflects Chick-fil-A’s commitment to customer comfort and innovation.

Mayse & Associates Architects is proud to have architecturally supported Chick-fil-A with building a new Chick-fil-A restaurant to better serve the community of Dallas.
