Courtyard by Marriott Remodel

Near the esteemed Baylor University and across the street from the Waco Convention Center in Waco, Texas, the remodel of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel is set to be completed by October 2025. The scope of the remodel includes a new lobby, bar, outdoor courtyard, fitness area, and a refreshed exterior. Through strategic planning, the remodel design honors the hotel’s legacy while introducing a fresh, modern aesthetic.

The first thing guests will encounter upon arrival is the new porte cochère at the entrance. Designed to protect travelers as they unload their vehicles, it will usher them into the refined atmosphere inside. Before entering the hotel, they will be welcomed by the refreshed exterior, which utilizes earth tones to complement the existing shingle roof. Once inside, guests will be greeted by a new larger bar that overlooks the renovated courtyard, a space perfect for socializing. On college game days, guests can enjoy the camaraderie of watching the Baylor Bears play in a vibrant, shared environment. For those looking to stay active, the new expanded fitness room, created by enclosing the previous outdoor patio, will invite them to exercise.
